1. Quality Policy
The Board of the Founding Entity (ACVG) and the President of the Board of Directors of EUVG coordinate and ensure the implementation of the strategy and the achievement of institutional objectives, assuming a commitment to quality and quality assurance as a fundamental driver for the functioning and development of EUVG, involving all bodies, services and their stakeholders in the fulfilment of the quality policy.
The Quality Assurance Policy represents a commitment to continuous improvement at EUVG and to the involvement of internal and external partners in the definition and fulfilment of a Quality Culture. A Quality Culture implies the active participation of all members of the academic community and strategic partners in processes of reflection and analysis of the current reality and future perspectives for EUVG.
ACVG–EUVG establishes its Quality Policy and the continuous improvement of its activities, affirming its commitment to:
- Improvement – Promoting a continuous improvement process within the Institution in order to achieve and strengthen the reference levels established for the performance of its mission.
- Responsibility – Encouraging responsibility for quality assurance across the entire academic community.
- Effectiveness – Defining operational processes characterised by efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and visibility of achieved results.
- Participation – Ensuring the active participation of the entire academic community, alumni, and social and professional partners in the analysis, reflection and debate on EUVG’s reality and future perspectives.
In order to implement this policy, the Management of the Founding Entity and the President of the Board of Directors approved, in November 2019, the first version of the Regulation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS Regulation), following a proposal by the Coordinator of the Quality Assurance Office (GabQ), with the collaboration of key stakeholders from each area of activity/mission.
The Management of the Founding Entity and the President of the Board of Directors, together with the remaining members of the Board, undertake to implement the Internal Quality Assurance System as an integral part of institutional management and commit themselves to complying with and enforcing its provisions, with a view to continuous improvement and stakeholder satisfaction in pursuing the institutional mission, in accordance with the applicable quality standards.
