Enrolment is done at Inforestudante

All students selected for Erasmus Mobility are entitled to a grant under this programme. However, according to the ranking of candidates (criteria set out in the Regulations), grants are awarded in order of type, duration and destination of mobility, until the budget made available by the National Erasmus+ Agency of Portugal to EUVG is exhausted.

The grant is intended to cover the difference between the standard of living in the country of origin and the host country.

The Erasmus grant is a contribution to support the cost of living abroad. Check HERE for the reference values for Erasmus Grants.

If the student is selected to receive an Erasmus grant, the grant will be paid in two instalments: the first (70%) after receipt of the entry document and the second (30%) at the end of the mobility period, after all procedures have been completed.

No. Tuition fees continue to be paid at EUVG. You can request a discount on tuition fees during the mobility period. See HERE – Annex 1: Social and Financial Support Measures, incentives for merit and mobility (measure 5).

Yes, recognition is always full, either in the Qualifications Certificate or in the Diploma Supplement. After the application phase, you will fill in the Learning Agreement or Training Agreement, which establishes the commitment to the skills to be achieved and recognised after successful completion, between the three parties (Student, EUVG and Host Entity). More information HERE.

Some institutions require a certain level of proficiency in the language of instruction. You should consult the website of the institution where you intend to study and check the language skills required.

We also advise you to take the free OLS (Online Linguistic Support Test– escolha a língua e realize o Placement Test)

Students are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. To do so, they should contact the host institution and find out what procedure to follow. If the host institution does not offer accommodation or if you do not wish to stay in that type of accommodation, ESN – Erasmus Student Network https://www.esn.org/ can help you find alternatives

You can always send an email to soc_erasmus@euvg.pt or schedule an in-person visit to the Erasmus Office – schedule HERE.

MobiliTree

With MobiliTree, we want to promote cooperation and a sense of a united Europe, as well as raise awareness of the ecological footprint of student mobility and encourage carbon offsetting practices.

Students arriving at EUVG and those leaving EUVG will plant a native species on our campus before their departure. These plants will be mapped and labelled with the student’s name and nationality on the “Erasmus Ecosystem Map”
