Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama was represented at the “Strategic Leadership for Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education” meeting by Professor Ferdinando de Freitas on 9 April, in Tomar.
The event brought together leaders, specialists, and policymakers from several higher education institutions. Its main goal was to examine the challenges and opportunities created by the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the academic environment.
Professor Ferdinando de Freitas, President of EUVG, has been involved in the fields of pedagogical innovation and digital transformation in higher education. During the meeting, he took part in sessions focused on defining strategies for the informed and sustainable adoption of these technologies.
Participants reviewed guidelines and tools designed to support the implementation of AI in institutions. Collaborative activities also created opportunities to discuss practical application scenarios in different teaching contexts.
Through this participation, EUVG reinforces its commitment to innovation in higher education. The institution aims to integrate technology in an ethical, pedagogical, and organizational way while preparing for future challenges.
