The Vasco da Gama University School (EUVG) and the Vasco da Gama Research Center were represented at VetEd Europe 2026—held between September 10 and 12 in Bucharest—by Professors Ana Rita Caseiro and Mariana Rodrigues.
VetEd Europe is a European community of practice for veterinary educators, bringing together faculty, clinicians, and researchers to share innovations and best practices in undergraduate and postgraduate education. This edition was hosted by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (UASVM Bucharest), Romania, a partner institution of EUVG.
During the conference, the EUVG professors presented the work developed with students within the scope of the Clinical Skills Labs and the Guest Animal Program. The presentation demonstrated the practical application of these methodologies in developing the clinical and pedagogical skills of future veterinary surgeons.
Participation in this international forum, carried out under the AgritechEdu project, served as an important opportunity for academic and scientific enrichment. It promoted the exchange of pedagogical experiences with academics from various countries and strengthened institutional cooperation ties.
The Leadership of EUVG extends a special thanks to all the students who collaborated in the presented studies, highlighting their involvement, availability, and essential contribution to the success and development of these initiatives.
