On 29 May 2026, Professor Carlota Beja successfully completed her PhD at the Institute for Research on Portuguese-speaking Countries (IROPC) at City University of Macau.
Her thesis, entitled “Food Security: A Comparative Study on Cape Verde and Angola”, was presented and defended in the Macao Special Administrative Region.
Alongside the defence, the lecturer also gave an interview to TDM – Teledifusão de Macau. The report covered her academic career and highlighted her work as a lecturer at our School.
With this latest achievement, EUVG continues to enhance the quality of its teaching and research.
