General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1-OBJECT

1. These general conditions of sale are agreed between ACVG – Associação Cognitária Vasco da Gama (ACVG), founding entity of Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama (EUVG), with headquarters at Rua Sá de Miranda, 30, 1.º H, 2410-273 Leiria, taxpayer number 513 600 108 and contact +351 244 206 893, hereinafter referred to as “ACVG” and the individuals who wish to make purchases through the website www.euvg.pt, hereinafter referred to as “User”.

2. The parties agree that purchases made through the website www.euvg.pt will be governed exclusively by the entity’s General Training Regulations (available here) and by the specific conditions set out on this page.

2-ORDER

  1. The User completes their order by finalizing the purchase process presented on the website www.euvg.pt, adding the course(s) they wish to order to the shopping cart.
  2. To submit their order, the User must:
  3. a) Register on the website www.euvg.pt, providing the information requested for this purpose.
  4. b) Log in (providing an email and password combination chosen by the User at the time of registration).
  5. c) Complete the information and choose the options made available to them throughout the order completion process (billing address, payment method, as well as the Tax Identification Number and name they wish to appear on the invoice for tax purposes).
  6. The User’s final confirmation of the order is equivalent to full and complete acceptance of the prices and description of the courses available for sale, as well as these General Conditions of Sale, which will be the only ones applicable to the contract thus concluded.
  7. ACVG will honor orders received online. In the event of unavailability of the service provision, ACVG undertakes to inform the User as soon as possible and to refund the amount paid via bank transfer.
  8. The data on the invoice is the sole responsibility of the User. After being issued, the invoice can only be changed within a maximum period of 48 hours after its issuance. A credit note may need to be signed before a new invoice is issued.
  9. If payment of the invoice is not received by the services within the specified period, the order will not be guaranteed.

3-PAYMENT

  1. On the website www.euvg.pt, ACVG offers the User the following payment methods via Easypay – Instituição de Pagamento Lda.:
  2. a) Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
  3. b) Multibanco reference
  4. c) MB Way
  5. d) Bank Transfer
  6. e) Google Pay
  7. f) Apple Pay
  8. In the case of credit card payment, the debit will be made to the User’s card immediately after confirmation of the ability to provide the service. If it is not possible to provide any of the ordered services, their value will be credited to the User’s card after the order is closed.

4-AVAILABILITY AND USAGE

  1. The service will be made available after confirmation of payment made. The credentials for accessing the online training platform will be sent within 24 business hours after payment confirmation.

5-PRICES

  1. Prices are to be understood in Euros, including taxes and fees, considering the VAT in force on the date of payment of the order. 2. If there is an increase in the Price of any service, the User will be informed immediately and may choose to continue with their order (making the payment of the difference) or proceed with its cancellation.

6-CANCELLATION AND REFUND

  1. The cancellation or refund process is handled on a case-by-case basis by ACVG. The request must be sent in writing to the contact email formacao@euvg.pt, up to 15 days after the order and before the student starts the course, with instructions for cancellation or refund of the amount paid being responded to and defined by ACVG through the same means of communication.
  2. After the student has started the course (i.e., their entry into the training platform), the student will not be entitled to a refund, as they will already have had access to the didactic material and available resources, in addition to monitoring tutorials. Notwithstanding, they may indicate another person to take their place in the same course.
  3. Whenever possible, the refund should be made through the same payment method, but if not possible, the user must provide proof of payment and proof of ownership of the account or card, so that the refund can be made by Bank Transfer.
  4. ACVG undertakes to reimburse the User within a maximum period of 10 days after the process is closed.

7-PRIVACY POLICY

The processing of User data is carried out in compliance with legislation on the protection of personal data. This data, subject to computer processing, will be included in ACVG’s database(s) and is intended for the registration and presentation of other products and services, as well as institutional information, to be made available by them.

Providing it is optional and the right to access, rectify, and cancel any data that directly concerns them is guaranteed, under the terms of the law, in person or in writing, directly to the address on the homepage of this website. The User can access the full Policy HERE.
