EUVG Digitalises Veterinary Sciences Teaching with Anatomage

Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama (EUVG) has introduced advanced digital technology to its veterinary curriculum through the adoption of the Anatomage platform, enhancing how anatomy and clinical cases are taught to students.

Anatomage is a digital anatomy and clinical case tool that gives students interactive access to three-dimensional organic systems and real imaging cases from multiple animal species. This technology allows learners to explore and study anatomy in detail, improving their preparation for real-world clinical scenarios.

The platform directly supports students in the Integrated Master’s in Veterinary Medicine, the Master’s in Internal Medicine of Companion Animals, and the Bachelor’s in Bioveterinary Sciences at EUVG, helping them build essential knowledge and skills through immersive digital interaction.

This innovation is part of the “AgriTechEdu: Empowering People with Digital and Technological Skills in Agricultural Sciences” project, funded by the PRR Impulso Mais Digital programme under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), aimed at modernising and digitising agricultural and veterinary education.

By integrating Anatomage into its teaching practices, EUVG continues its mission to modernise veterinary education and equip students with cutting-edge tools that bridge theoretical learning and practical application.
